Xanticohostal - Ipiales

I booked it many times and couldn't recommend more. I got a cheap room and the staff were best. The hotel had a nice and ideal location in the centre of Ipiales. Furthermore, I walked to see a shopping mall.

Convenient location was definitely a bonus. Also, there was a laptop shop nearby - super handy for any tech needs! 💻

the room was impressive and big, it had a refrigerator, a dining area, and a sitting area.

The staff at this hostel were super friendly and helpful! They made us feel so welcome and even gave us free border crossing information. the location was great and we felt safe and clean in the city. the beds were bigger and more comfortable than usual, and we loved the curtains that provided some privacy. Plus, the small but good breakfast and free water filter were definite bonuses.

The kitchen was also lacking, with small pans and no fridge. While they did have a fridge in the restaurant that we could use, it would have been more convenient to have our own.

The meals were affordable and there were plenty of options to choose from. the room was wonderful and the bed was comfortable.

The room at Xanticohostal was amazing! It had everything I needed, like a washing machine and kitchenware. The tile floor was a nice touch and the desk made it easy to get some work done. it felt cozy and convenient.

Personally, I didn't really like the fact that each room at the guest house had a washing machine.

Featuring a terrace with breathtaking views, our stay at Xanticohostal was like standing on the edge of a majestic mountaintop. The free WiFi throughout the property allowed us to stay connected to the world while feeling like we were in a secluded paradise. The 24-hour front desk and room service made us feel like VIPs, always having someone available to cater to our needs. And let's not forget the shared kitchen, where we were able to whip up delicious meals and bond with fellow travelers over culinary adventures.

Room lock issues.

Centrally located in Ipiales near the central park, Xanticohostal is a hip and clean hostel. The beds are big and comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. The friendly staff were always happy to help with any questions. I had a small incident with laundry, but it was resolved quickly. I had a pleasant stay at Xanticohostal and would recommend it to others.

We had a great stay at a hostel in the center of town. the staff were exceptionally kind and made us feel welcome. the dormitory was clean and comfortable, with cozy beds and fresh-smelling blankets and towels. the hostel provided excellent amenities, including good wifi and a well-equipped kitchen. Plus, the location was perfect, with everything we needed nearby. it was one of our best stays!

Great experience here! Everything was just what we needed. I would totally suggest it to others. the hotel is in an awesome spot right next to the city center, Tulcan for the night, and town center. 🌟

I was really impressed with the hotel's decoration and ambiance. The common areas were beautifully designed with warm colors and comfortable seating, which made it a perfect place for older guests like myself to relax and socialize. The hotel's accessibility was also great for senior people, with wide hallways and ramps that made it easy to move around with mobility aids.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more assistance from the staff. Sometimes, it would have been helpful to have someone available to help carry luggage or provide guidance around the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay in the heart of the town. the hostel's location allowed us to easily explore the city center, with a cafe next door and shops just a step away. Our room was clean and comfortable, with extra blankets provided to keep us warm. the staff were exceptionally friendly and assisted us with all the information we needed. They even printed the documents required for our border crossing.

There were no lockers in our dorm room to store our valuables.
